i don't understand.
i've tried
i can't fit my thoughts in 140 characters.
you can't have discussions. there is no room for nuance or interpretation in 140 characters.
and really, when i'm away from a computer, i'm away from the computer. this is why i never got facebook or im mobile. if i wanted to know i'd get on a computer. also if i wanted to know what you were doing at this very instant...i'd ask you.
i guess i understand twitter if you want to stalk your favorite celebs and whatnot. but regular people? i really don't care that you're on your way to bojangles.
maybe it's because twitter isn't for ramblers like me. it's a bunch of facebook statuses/away messages and then talking about them in short sentences. what is the point of that?

i hate twitter. its for a bunch of people who think other people give a shit about what they're doing. i always feel weird when i update mine. does anyone really care what im doing??
I have to agree...at first when I heard about twitter I was thinkin it was just another blog site or somethin. Once my guy friend told me its just a site where ppl update there status every so often I was like wtf....why would I "follow" random ppl on twitter...I mean I don't even know like that to even care what ur doin....
LMAO. I used to feel that way about twitter at first.
but it's actually pretty fun.
I get new music, news, info about the change of time for my finals right there in one place.
It's also a quick way to get a laugh.
And I closely monitor who I follow & who follows me to avoid BS.
All in all, it's not TOO bad.
I don't understand twitter either... it is nonsense to me. When I was first invited, I was curious and went to the site, but I still didn't see the thrill that everyone else was getting out of it. I don't even support it for tracking celebrities... but then again, I am for celebrities having private lives and them not being special.
I'm on my way to Bojangles right now! Gotta get me some sausage biscuits before I leave.
I feel the exact same way!! Twitter isn't for me because I could really care less about what someone is doing at the present moment...it's not that serious. On top of that, I don't want the whole world knowing what I'm doing at every moment.
